Snorkel was the only company to win two awards at the 14th annual Leadership in Lifting Equipment and Aerial Plaftorms (LLEAP) Awards, presented by Lift and Access. Given the Gold Award in the MEWPs category, the Snorkel S3019E electric scissor lift won for its patented sunken scissor stack design while the Snorkel Pressure Washer Package received a Silver Award in the Aftermarket Support Products and Services.
Eight winners in four categories were recognized among the most innovative new products in the access industry. In order for a product or service to qualify for the 2019 competition, the entry needed to be new or a major improvement to an existing product, introduced or available in North America between June 1, 2018, and May 31, 2019.
An expert panel of judges evaluated the entries and rated the products based on innovative features and technology, perceived value, productivity, and overall benefit to the industry. The Snorkel S3019E was honored for safety with a low step-in height that provides for easier access to the platform. The Snorkel Pressure Washer Package, available on the 600S/660SJ telescopic boom lift, offers a specialized generator and durable pressure washer.
