Tony covers the different types of test kits available

We offer the following sample/testing kits:

  • XS-PUMP
    • This is a stand-alone fluid extractor (vacuum pump) that the sample bottle attaches to. This extractor would be beneficial for someone who is going to utilize a PM plan and take multiple samples.
  • XS-CONST
    • This is a single-sample kit with no extractor. This kit is useful for someone that already has access to a fluid-extractor setup.
  • XS-CONST-SP
    • This is a single-sample kit that includes a simple syringe extractor and tubing for acquiring a single sample.
  • XS-CONST-12
    • This kit contains 12 sampling kits. This bulk kit is ideal for the PM sampling plan.

These testing kits will cover a wide range of fluids including hydraulic fluid, gear oil, transmission fluid, engine oil, coolant, and diesel fuel. All these fluids can be collected and sent in for analysis in these kits so there is no need to have a different kit for each type of fluid.

  • Oil analysis provides a comprehensive view of the state of your lubricated equipment providing peace-of-mind for your operation.
  • Coolant analysis provides a comprehensive view of the state of your coolant and cooling system.
  • Fuel testing provides a comprehensive analysis to ensure optimum fuel usage efficiency and adherence to regulatory and insurance requirements.

The fluid analysis will take approximately one week from the date of submission. The customer will be notified via the email address provided upon registration.

Abnormal — Conditions are present that may require monitoring or diagnosis to minimize impact on equipment and lubricant performance.
Normal — Equipment, contamination and lubricant conditions are within an acceptable range. No other steps are required.

We will be issuing a TCB with more detailed information including how to take a sample and how to submit it.
